This is a black and white illustration of a rustic scene. A farmhouse is depicted on the right side, with a gabled roof and chimney. The ground appears textured and uneven, surrounded by trees in intricate detail. Hills in the distance provide depth to the scene, with a low horizon above the house. The sky is suggested by parallel lines. The style is characterized by precise lines with a woodcut technique. The color palette is monochromatic, using black and cream.
