This is a drawing of two figures on horseback in a surreal landscape. The image shows a horse carrying the riders through a forest of twisted trees. The chiaroscuro effect creates a nighttime atmosphere. In the foreground, a picnic setting is depicted. The trees reach up towards a crescent moon in the sky.
