The image shows a submarine next to a wooden pier from an eye-level perspective. The horizon is slightly below the center, where the water meets the land and distant structures. The artwork has detailed line work creating textures on the submarine. It uses a monochromatic color palette of grey tones with strong contrast. The reflection of the submarine and pier is visible in the calm water. In the distance, faint outlines of trees and other vessels are visible, adding depth to the composition.
