The image shows a riverside dock scene with a busy waterway filled with ships and boats. A bridge spans the horizon with buildings and church spires in the distance. The artist used fine line work and a monochromatic sepia color palette for texture. Close to the viewer, smaller boats and figures are engaged in activities while larger ships lead towards the bridge and skyline.
