The image features a large, oval-shaped medallion with a relief of a profile portrait on the left side connected to a chain of interlocking links. The chain curves downward and ends on the right side of the image, where it connects to a simple hooked clasp. The color palette is mostly monochrome, with various shades of black and gray against an off-white background. The medallion is positioned on the left, with the chain extending downward in a gentle curve before rising slightly as it reaches the hook on the right. A separate, smaller vertical piece with a straight line and a hook is placed slightly to the right of the chain's center.
