The image shows a large arched bridge viewed from below and to the side. The bridge obscures the horizon line, with a mountainous landscape in the background. The artwork features a textured technique, giving a stippled and grainy effect. The color palette is mainly shades of gray and sepia. Mountains are on the left, a train passes under the bridge on the right, and buildings are nestled against the mountains.
