In the bottom left corner of the screenprint, a person and a dog approach a large multi-layered structure surrounded by snow in the middle of the landscape. The person’s features are vague, covered by shadow and winter clothing. They wear a brimmed cap and carry a gun at their side in their right hand. Beside them is a medium-sized, light gray dog. Many of its features are hidden by dense shadows, and its front paws are off the ground as it moves forward. The person’s trail is visible in the blue, frost-bitten grass in the foreground covering the bottom of the landscape, as they continue towards the structure. The structure is covered in flat, smooth snow on its slanted roofs. Surrounding the building are multiple white snow dunes, many of which have dark blue and gray shadows cast on them from the building. On the building’s farthest left-hand side is a faded-red wing, along with a red door on the wing’s left side. The remainder of the building is a light gray, and has small windows and two doors scattered across it. On the right-hand side, next to the structure, is what looks to be a garage separate from the larger building. It has a longer rectangular form in comparison to the multi-layered structure behind it, and a large gray door to its furthest right. Behind the buildings, the landscape begins to rise, revealing more shadow-covered dunes and large, smooth stone hills. In the distant horizon, which comprises about the top two-thirds of the painting, the sky consists of slightly wavy horizontal lines made up of deep lavender-blues and lighter blue streaks. Four small wisps of clouds hang in the sky near the streaked layer closest to the top of the main structure.
