The image shows a view looking slightly upwards. The horizon is in the upper third where the sky meets trees and distant land. Large trees with dark foliage dominate the scene, with one on the left and two on the right. On the left, part of a building with distinct architectural lines is visible. The trees have a textured, almost impressionistic feel. The color palette is monochromatic with black, white, and gray tones contrasting the light sky and shadowy trees. Smaller trees are seen at the horizon, adding depth. A rustic fence and pathway mark the bottom. Fluffy clouds drift across the sky.
