The image shows an urban scene from a high vantage point, looking down at closely packed rooftops and structures. In the center are flat-roofed buildings with brick and stone facades. The scene is depicted using an etching technique with fine lines and a black and white color palette. Near us, there are horse-drawn carts parked haphazardly and a tall wooden utility pole with crossbars. The buildings and vehicles create a busy urban atmosphere.
