This is a drawing of a pastoral scene featuring a symmetrical layout with a central red-bricked house, surrounded by trees. In the foreground are two figures, trees, two dogs, and small sheep. Above them are two cherubs holding trumpets, flanking a large decorative insect-like motif. There is a passage of text in elegant script, and a basket of flowers in the bottom corners. The name "Sarah Sullard" and the year "1847" are stitched at the bottom of the piece.
