The image depicts a cityscape viewed from a distance over a body of water. The horizon features a skyline of skyscrapers and high-rise buildings. The city buildings are positioned just above the horizon. The brushstrokes are loose and sketch-like, giving an impressionistic feel, especially in the clouds. The color palette is monochromatic with shades of black, white, and grey. Boats and ships are scattered across the water. The detailed architecture of the city sits beyond this activity, partially shrouded by atmospheric haze. Large cloud formations dominate the sky in the background.
