The image shows a calm body of water dominating the lower third of the composition, reflecting industrial structures on the horizon. The horizon is demarcated by industrial buildings and tanks, including a large spherical structure on the left and an elongated cylindrical tank on the right. Cloud-like formations are depicted in the sky with soft, horizontal brushstrokes. The scene is rendered in a monochromatic palette of greys, utilizing a technique reminiscent of pointillism.
