The image shows three people seated, captured from their waists up. The person on the left is leaning back with eyes closed, wearing a wide-brimmed hat and a heavy coat. The person in the middle is an older man with a full, long beard, wearing a bowler hat and a coat, and is leaning slightly forward while looking to his right. The third person, to the right, is covered with a hooded shawl, with only their face partially visible, looking down. In the foreground, the back of another figure is visible, wearing a light coat. The individuals are seated on wooden chairs with vertical slats. The background consists of a simple wall, suggesting they are in an enclosed space.
