This print shows an urban scene with architectural elements and industrial activity. There are multiple large industrial buildings in the background, and closer to us are several small wooden structures on the left. People wearing dark clothes and caps sit in shadow with their backs to these structures, one of them reading a book or a newspaper. On the right, one standing person uses a saw to cut a plank of wood. Boxes or crates are scattered around, and the leftmost structure has a large poster on the side, showing the vague outline of a woman. In the background on the right is a view of a cloudy gray sky and tall buildings and smokestacks.
