This is a drawing of a wrestling match in a ring with a referee present. One wrestler is shown pinning another, with clear muscle tension and movement. The composition is dynamic, with ring ropes cutting diagonally. The audience is depicted as shadowy figures, except for one detailed observer. Strong contrasts and dramatic light and shadow play give the scene immediacy and physicality.
