The image shows a shepherd and his flock of sheep moving along a dirt path. The sheep are close together, displaying detailed textures of their woolly coats. A dog accompanies the shepherd. A stone wall borders the path, with lush grasses and bushes on the right. In the distance, the land rises gently with scattered trees across rolling hills. The horizon is low, and the sky has swirling clouds. The color palette is limited to black and beige, resembling an etching.
