This is a drawing of a rural scene featuring a vintage gas station and a winding road. The image showcases a landscape with a mixture of natural and man-made elements. On the left, there is a structure marked 'Home Rest' with an American flag atop. Nearby, signs offer 'Free Air' and gas for 14 cents, accompanied by ornamental gas pumps. A vintage car drives towards a wooden barn-like structure, within which a more modern car is parked. Several signs are visible along the roadside, some advertising "Smoke Bambles" and "Gory Brand Nail Varnish." The road and telephone poles curve gently, leading to hilly terrain in the background, with an airplane faintly visible in the sky. The overall composition uses exaggerated forms, integrating elements of Americana from the past.
