Three people are depicted in a full-body view. The central figure, a woman, is standing in the foreground wearing a cloak that covers her head and reaches down to her long dress. To her left, another figure—an adult male—is positioned slightly behind her, wearing a flat cap, coat, and tie. A smaller figure stands slightly in front of and to the side of the woman, holding onto the edge of her cloak. The child is also wearing a hooded cloak and carrying an unidentified object. The adult male has a slight smile and the central female figure has a stern expression, while the child has an ambiguous smile. The background consists of a large, dark building with visible window details and a round structure on the roof. Additionally, a leafless tree can be seen branching out behind the structure, and a stack of pipes or barrels lies on the ground on the right side of the image. The scene is rendered with a monochromatic, sketch-like style, emphasizing shadows and textures.
