This is a drawing of a pastoral scene with figures, sheep, and a house. Two seated figures are depicted, one in a blue outfit holding a staff alongside a collection of sheep and a small goat on a wooden platform. A dog is also on the platform, and a red brick house with a gabled roof is visible in the background. The scene includes palm trees and stylized floral motifs, suggesting a scene of domestic tranquility. Above the scene are various decorative motifs such as flowers, crowns, and animals arranged symmetrically. The words "Susanna Lawton Finished This Work 1844" are inscribed at the bottom.
