Artist, American, born 1957

The image shows a landscape with rippling water in the lower half of the scene. Wooden utility poles are reflected in the water, extending towards the horizon about a third of the way from the top of the image. The water displays dynamic waves near us, smoothing out as it extends into the distance. A narrow, rocky embankment is visible to the left with small bushes emerging. Low-lying mountains and dispersed clouds form the backdrop against a pale sky. The image is in black and white, emphasizing contrast and texture.
