This black-and-white photograph shows a woman's body from her neck down to her shins. She is standing upright on the right, facing the left, one arm hanging by her side and the other slightly raised. Her face is not visible aside from her chin. She has pale skin and wears a long white dress with thin straps and a silky texture that catches the light. Her raised hand is petting the head of a large white swan or goose on the left that is at the level of her waist. The bird is turned to her, its long neck curved in a slight S shape. The background is black, and the bird and woman appear to be illuminated.
