This is a painting of an embroidered textile piece. The textile features a series of cross-stitched patterns and text on a light background. The top section displays a name "SAMUEL WEAVER" with floral motifs and geometric shapes surrounding it. Below, the date "1838" can be discerned. The middle portion contains a phrase "WHEN THIS YOU SEE REMEMBER ME MARIA WEAVER" in multicolored thread. The piece is bordered with a repetitive diamond pattern and has fringes hanging along the bottom edge. The artist's name is signed as "CHARLOTTE ANGUS" at the bottom.
