Artist, German, 1897 - 1929

The image shows an abstract and sketch-like portrayal of a person's face and partial upper torso. The face is depicted from the front, emphasizing facial features extending down to part of the shoulders. The facial features are exaggerated with deep lines and shadowing, showing large eyes, a broad nose, and a severe mouth outlined with dark, jagged strokes. The hair is sporadically sketched around the crown in a rough manner. The person is wearing a garment in a dark green hue that extends slightly below the neckline. In the background, abstract lines and shapes are present.
