The image shows an etching style harbor scene with large ships close to us and in the distance. The horizon line is high in the composition, obscured by the ships. A shadowed vessel dominates the scene on the right with bold strokes, while a ship on the left appears more delicate. The sky is filled with swirling lines. The color palette is monochromatic with primarily blacks and whites, emphasizing textural detail.
