The image shows a landscape view from a slightly elevated position facing a river. In the scene, there are trees and a church with a pointed steeple on the horizon. The etching uses fine lines and cross-hatching for texture and shading. The color scheme is monochrome with varying densities of black lines on an off-white background. Two figures with a dog are walking on a path near the river. The path curves, leading to a bridge in the middle ground. In the distance, there is more vegetation and small structures on the banks.
