This is a drawing of a mythological scene. The artwork features a partially draped female figure reclining amidst a natural landscape of trees and shrubs. To the right, a figure is posed with an archer’s stance, a bowstring drawn. Above, a bird soars through the sky, which is rendered with swirling clouds. The background is detailed with an undulating line of trees and rolling hills, populated by smaller figures who appear to be observing or participating in an event. The scene is executed in a classical style with fine lines and hatching for shading.
