Associated Names
Edvard Munch

Artist, Norwegian, 1863 - 1944

The image shows a landscape with trees, a pathway, and a horizon. The horizon is high in the image with a faint line suggesting water beyond it. Two prominent trees with twisting trunks and foliage blowing in the wind are in the foreground. Additional trees extend into the distance, leading the eye toward the horizon. The artwork is created with fine etching lines, adding texture and depth. The color palette is sepia, giving the piece an antiquated look.
