Artist, American, 1899 - 1977

The image features bold, thick-lined geometric shapes and patterns. There is a prominent central shape against a densely patterned background. The composition includes a top row of black circles within squares. Below that, there are zigzag and vertical striped patterns creating a textured surface around an abstract figure. The central shape has a lattice-like pattern resembling a decorative fabric or woven basket. Thin horizontal lines frame the abstract elements within.
