The image features a detailed drawing of multiple people in a classical setting. A woman is seated in the center, holding a small child on her lap. She is shown from the waist up, with her head slightly bowed and eyes downcast. The child is prominently positioned, mostly unclothed, and depicted in a dynamic pose with arms extended. Surrounding them are four other figures, each dressed in flowing robes. They have bearded faces and curly hair. One figure stands to the left with his hand raised to his chest. Behind the central group are massive pillars leading to an elaborate background with architectural elements. In the foreground, there is a cushion and an open book.
