The image shows a water landscape with a high horizon, an elongated bridge, an island with dense vegetation, and a shoreline with plants and shrubs. The cyanotype style gives the image a blue tint. Closest to us is the shoreline, with the water beyond. In the distance, hills rise on the right side and fade into the sky.
