Artist, French, 1705 - 1765

There are two nude male figures in the image. One figure is lying on his back on a slab, with one arm hanging off the side and the other bent near his midsection. He has medium-length, slightly curly hair, closed eyes, and a relaxed expression. The second figure is positioned behind the first, shown from the back and bending slightly, with his body twisted toward the viewer. He has short, dark hair and a muscular build, holding the legs of the lying figure. The background is dark, and no clothing, jewelry, or other objects are visible.
