The image depicts a hillside with buildings and vegetation, including a central stupa or pagoda. The horizon is high in the composition, with the hill occupying much of the frame against the sky. Several traditional buildings are scattered around the main structure among trees. The foreground shows flat, textured terrain. The color palette is muted sepia, giving the image a vintage quality.
