This is a drawing of three turned wood spindle designs. The drawing includes three distinct designs of turned wood spindles laid out horizontally across the page. Each spindle is precisely drawn with attention to symmetry and contours typical of turned wood elements. The top spindle measures 10 7/8 inches in length. It features traditional baluster shapes with curved and straight sections. The middle spindle is longer, measuring 14 7/8 inches and presents a more tapered form towards one end, showcasing a different mix of curves and block shapes. The bottom spindle, 12 7/8 inches in length, displays a similar style to the first one with a varied sequence of rounded sections. Each spindle is annotated with measurements, providing a detailed technical aspect to the illustration.
