This is a series of frames capturing a figure in motion bending over to pick up an object. The photographs show the sequential movements of the figure engaged in the act of bending down. The backdrop consists of horizontal lines. The top row shows a profile view of the figure in different stages of bending down, while the bottom row shows a frontal view of the transition from standing to bending. The image is akin to motion studies and resembles the work of Eadweard Muybridge. It captures the dynamism of the action and subtle shifts in body posture, freezing a study of movement in time.
