The scene shows rolling fields leading towards farm buildings. The horizon line is high in the composition with trees and buildings. The etching technique creates fine, linear strokes for a sketch-like quality. The color palette is monochromatic in shades of black and white. The fields have detailed patterns and the buildings and trees add vertical elements to the horizontal view.
