This is an image of anthropomorphized insects surrounding a candle. The flies have human-like faces and are depicted with exaggerated facial expressions. They are arranged in a circle around the lit candle, some insects are numbered. Other insects below the candle appear lifeless or tired. The background and style suggest a political or social theme.
