This is a photograph of a dimly lit, long arcade with signage for various businesses. The image shows a narrow, covered passage with overhead lights casting shadows along the ceiling and walls. The left side of the arcade is lined with signs for shops and services, such as "Salon de coiffure pour dames" and "Coiffeurs pour dames." Various other signs advertise different businesses in French. The right side of the corridor features evenly spaced columns supporting the passageway. The perspective draws the eye along the stretch, emphasizing the depth and repetition of the architectural elements. The black-and-white tones enhance the vintage atmosphere of the scene.
