Artist, American, 1903 - 1975

The image shows a sepia-toned scene through an old window divided into several panes. Each pane shows parts of a single poster featuring a man's portrait, dressed in a suit with a tie. The man's facial expression looks serious, with defined features and a strong gaze. Below and beside the poster, there are arrangements of flowers. The weathered wooden window frame shows signs of aging and peeling paint. The background behind the portrait is dark, creating contrast. A partial reflection is visible in the glass. The outer wall surrounding the window is clad in horizontal wooden siding.
