There are Victorian-style buttoned boots on a wooden floor, along with an open book on a cushioned bench. The color palette consists of black and white tones. A sheer curtain hangs in the background, framing the scene. On the windowsill, there are various decorative items, including a mug, a shoehorn, a small figure, and a vase. Faint images of bare trees outside can be seen through the window.
