The image depicts a group of individuals standing closely together, facing towards the center where a lit candle stands. Most individuals have exaggerated facial features and expressions of surprise or intrigue. They wear loose-fitting clothing typical of an earlier era, possibly the 19th century, and have a variety of hair styles. The scene appears to be indoors with a dimly lit background and a hazy atmosphere.
