This print depicts a knight in silver armor on horseback, facing the right and raising a long sword. The visor of the knight's helmet has been lifted to show a pale face drawn with simple lines. Behind the knight is a line of soldiers in blue-and-red uniforms carrying long bayonets and a large French flag. The horse that the knight rides on appears to be walking on some of the soldiers who have fallen on the ground. The sky behind the scene is blue, and the ground is a yellow-green color. The title "JEANNE D'ARC" and the artist's name, "M. BOUTET DE MONVEL," are displayed prominently above the print, with an additional line of text below it.
