This is a photograph of a religious altar in a room viewed through an arched doorway. The image captures an interior space decorated with religious symbols and objects. The focal point of the image is a statue or figure of a religious personage placed centrally on the altar. The walls surrounding the altar are adorned with painted scenes depicting birds, foliage, and inscriptions in a script. Draped over the altar is a white cloth, upon which various candles, crosses, and decorative items are placed. The date "1923" appears above the altar. Both sides of the doorway feature small wall-mounted crosses. The floor leading up to the altar is covered in wax from melted candles. The overall mood of the photograph is solemn and contemplative.
