Sculptor, American, 1843 - 1907

The sculpture depicts two resting animals that appear to be large cats, positioned side by side with their bodies leaning against each other. The animals are in a relaxed pose, lying on their stomachs with their limbs curled under their bodies. The surface of the sculpture is smooth and detailed, capturing the muscular structure and fur texture of the animals. The sculpture is made of a dark, polished material, likely bronze. The animals are lifelike in scale and detail. The base of the sculpture is solid and naturalistic.
