This is a drawing of individuals in a dramatic scene involving a door. The image depicts figures with exaggerated expressions, two of whom are pushing against a door, as a third figure advises them to open it. Inside, a shadowy figure seems to be exerting pressure on the door from the other side. Visible in the room are chairs and possibly a table. The illustration employs strong lines and shading to accentuate expressions and physical exertion.
