falsely inscribed on the base in underglaze blue in three columns of two characters each: Da Ming Chenghua nian zhi (made in the Chenghua reign of the great Ming dynasty)

Technical Summary
The foot-ring is trimmed with beveled edges. There are several repairs at the lip of the vase. The base has a hairline crack extending from the foot-ring to the center of the base.
