This is a painting of an interior scene. The room has ornate wood paneling, a central fireplace with antlers above it, and words inscribed on the mantel. Armor and weaponry are displayed on the walls and floor. There is a stained-glass window with drapery, a table with a green tablecloth, and richly decorated chairs. The scene gives an impression of domestic life from the 17th century.
