The image depicts a park with a large stone statue on a pedestal to the left. A tree-lined path or avenue stretches into the distance where people are seen walking or resting. In the background, there is a grand architectural arch with golden tones. The horizon is hidden by foliage and the structure. The brushstrokes are loose and impressionistic. The color palette includes muted earthy tones, soft greens for trees, blues and grays for the sky, and warm beiges and browns.
