This is a drawing of a battlefield scene with soldiers and fallen figures. The image depicts a tumultuous and intense war scene. In the foreground and mid-ground, several figures can be seen, some lying on the ground, while others appear to be engaging with each other or aiding a downed figure. The soldiers are equipped with rifles and bayonets. The background features a chaotic sky, with what seems to be smoke or explosions. The drawing uses a monochrome palette with strong contrasts between light and shadow.
