The image shows a small rowboat on open water with a slightly elevated perspective. The horizon is indistinct, blending into the sky. Three figures are in the rowboat, with one standing and waving a hat. The boat is right of center, emphasizing the surrounding empty space. Delicate strokes are used, with detailed focus on the boat and figures. The color palette is mainly gray and black against a light tan background. Subtle shading suggests ripples on the water.
