This drawing is a sketch of a man standing and facing slightly to the right, his face in profile. He has a long, straight nose, a full, dark beard, and a dark mustache. He is wearing a high hat with a tall brim. His clothing consists of a flowing outer garment like a thick cloak that covers most of his body. A sash or belt is visible around his waist, tying a tunic-like garment. The lines of the drawing are loose, and the background is beige paper.
